One Hello!

About You:
Please post something that you've done at EARTH and that you're proud of. Add what name you would like me to use to address you. As well, share what country you are from. Finally, add anything else about yourself! The more, the better. PLEASE do this by 10 p.m., Wednesday, May 27.

About me:
I write a poem almost every day, and I play the guitar. This all keeps my heart pumping pretty hard. I love being outdoors, especially away from the city where I can fish, birdwatch, and listen to the world. A picture above shows the Platte River; I am playing in it with my children, brother, and nephews. It's not deep! Call me Phip, please.
I'm coming back to Costa Rica because I loved my time at EARTH, the students, my colleagues, and the landscape.

  1. Hi Phip!

Great to hear from you again friend! how is everything going in Nebraska? I'm Joel and I from Nicaragua. I love to listen to music, specially live music and punk-rock music 'cause it has a lot of good energy! Lately I've found a new way to have fun and it is playing frisbee with some friends here at EARTH. I like plants production as well as plant physiology and soils management -the best!-

One thing that makes me feel proud of is all the knowledge I've reached since I am here at EARTH, I mean, this a unique opportunity of being a different professional with other goals for my lifetime. I got the priority of a more green development and the need to come back to my country and make a change for my community.

Well, those are my thoughts! hope to hear from you soon!

    Joel
